10MAR07 Back from Japan, and off to China!
Dee and I left rainy Vancouver bright and early this morning for our Air Canada flight to Beijing.
We were fortunate enought to have seats "at the front of the bus" on one of the newly refreshed 767 - with seats which actually lie completely flat. Which meant that I might have actually gotten some sleep if it wasn't for the fact that my overhead reading light was broken and stuck in the 'on' mode!!!
Here is Danielle demonstrating just how spacious the new Executive Class seats are:
Arrived to a sunny but cold Beijing city just after 5pm - a quick bowl of noodles and a wander through the street market and we're ready to crash for a day of adventure before our Sunday night train to Lhasa tomorrow.
